Constantine x KXNG Crooked & DJ Ethnicity'. With this prodigiously competent track steadily climbing the radio charts, DJ Trouble Enuff seems destined for the global limelight. Reporter Lily Clark recently caught up with this talented artist to learn more about what inspires such a unique brand of rap / hip-hop music.

LILY: What can you tell us about your creative process?
DJ TROUBLE ENUFF: 0

LILY: Is there a hidden meaning to your latest single 'Breathe Feat. Constantine x KXNG Crooked & DJ Ethnicity'?
DJ TROUBLE ENUFF: If there is a hidden meaning it would be, as music artists our passion and love for rap is sometimes so pervasive that it often makes you feel like you can't breathe without it. Meaning that if my career was suddenly taken away, that would be devastating.

LILY: Did you collaborate with others to create this single? If so, who was involved?
DJ TROUBLE ENUFF: The first thing that I did was secured an artist feature with renown rap artist Kxng Crooked. That feature was secured from super Producers Anno Domini & Gabe of Legion beats. They are also responseble for bringing in Grammy nominated artist Constantine to do the hook. Finally, I contacted DJ Ethnicity a local DJ/rapper/studio engineer to write and record the final verse to the song.

LILY: What is your favorite part about being a musician? Your least favorite? Why?
DJ TROUBLE ENUFF: My favorite part of being a musician is the support that I have received from family, friends & fans. So many people have taken time to either thank me, or offer encouragement. Therefore, I love what I do. I feel strongly that through music, I am making a positive impact on the lives of others. My least favorite part of being a musician would be the recording sessions. Sometimes the sessions are a lot of fun however, there are times when they are exhausting.

LILY: Have you ever dealt with performance anxiety?
DJ TROUBLE ENUFF: I am usually very excited when given the opportunity to perform consequently I welcome any and all challenges.I am also a highly motivated and competitively driven person. Of course there are obvious pressures such as having to meet deadlines, wanting your craft to be perfect, things of this nature however, at this point in my career, performance anxiety is little or no issue. I am a chilled person by nature and that seems to work in my favor.

LILY: Have you ever had an unusual interactions with fans? What happened?
DJ TROUBLE ENUFF: I had an unusual reaction from a fan on one of the social media sites that I post my music. I received a message from a fan expressing to me how much they liked my music. However, what I did not know was how long this individual had been following my career. Turns out that this person was a true fan that had been listening and following my music career for several years. The fan that I am referring to recently contacted me to express their disappointment that I was not updating my music playlist often enough. I am grateful that this issue was brought to my attention because others may have felt the same way as well. .

LILY: What’s an average day like for you?
DJ TROUBLE ENUFF: I am a family man and the founder of Farmdogg & Troubled Entertainment Productions. My company provides Mobile DJ services for weddings, parties and other special events. We also manage & promote local music artists, dancers, singers, models and DJ's. An average day for me involves long hours planning, advertising, developing ideas & promoting. I also spend a great deal of time networking with others in the entertainment business to ensure my company continues to make important progress. My family and the continued development of my company is first and foremost which means my music career is secondary. Because it is secondary but equally important, I often have to stay up late at night and sometimes into the morning writing and recording music for myself.

LILY: As you were growing up, who were your musical inspirations?
DJ TROUBLE ENUFF: Growing up I had several musical inspirations however, the most influential were George Clinton, Public Enemy & Michael Jackson.

LILY: If you didn't become a musician, what would you be doing right now?
DJ TROUBLE ENUFF: If I did not become a musician I would probaly have been a Lawyer. There are a lot issues in our Juduical system that I would like to see changed. When I look at our current judicial system, I see a lot of unfairness. Although there have been recent exonerations, there are many that are still in prison for crimes that they did not commit. Mass incarceration is a huge problem. Pewresearch.org 2019 reports that in 2017, blacks represented 12% of the U.S. adult population but 33% of the sentenced prison population. The disproportionality is disingenuous.

LILY: If you could only give one message to your fans, what would it be?
DJ TROUBLE ENUFF: I would say to my fans, thank you so much for the wonderful comments, encouragement and continued support of my creative movement. I love, respect and appreciate each and everyone of you.

LILY: Is your family musical?
DJ TROUBLE ENUFF: There is musical talent in my immediate and extended family. We have a host of singers, rappers and even dancers. My daughter Ami enjoys performing Hip hop dance. At the age of 9, she has already participated in various plays and events. My daughter Yulia plays the violin. At the age of 13, she is a competitive jazz, tap, Hip hop and ballet dancer. My nephew Andrew a.k.a. (NuNu) is a Midwest rap sensation. He is featured on my latest award winning single entitled "Worst Way". NuNu has recorded music with famous artists such as Juvenile, and rapper Robert Kyjuan Cleveland who hails from St. Louis, Missouri, and is also a founding member of the Platinum-selling rap group the St. Lunatics. He has worked with other well-known music artists as well. In my nephew's quest to make it to the top, has met with famous musical giants such as TI and JZ.

LILY: Are you working on new material now? If so, what can you tell us about it?
DJ TROUBLE ENUFF: As a matter of fact, I do have new material. I just finished an album entitled "Promises of a Beautiful World". The album has 22 songs. Some of the album features include: Rick Ross, Rass Kass, Planet Asia, June B, Midwest rap sensation NuNu and of course the Breathe song featuring KXNG Crooked, Constantine & DJ Ethnicity. New comers to the industry include: Asia Renee, Marissa Swope & ADA. The album has been distributed to major music outlets such as: iTunes, Spotify, Amazon Music, Pandora, Deezer, iHeartRadio, Napster and more.

LILY: That sounds exciting! Best of luck with your new musical creations and I look forward to hearing what comes next.
